Companies are known for taking jabs at their competitors' products in their ads, and their competitors usually take it on the chin, but it's not uncommon such advertising strategies to cause legal troubles. That may be what Xiaomi is looking at, considering as both Samsung and Apple have threatened it with legal action in India over ads they find to be “disparaging.”Samsung and Apple are not happy with its adsA report indicates that Samsung and Apple have sent legal notices to Xiaomi in India over the ads it has been taking out against their products.Xiaomi has ran campaigns in print media and social media to compare Galaxy phones and Samsung TVs against its own offerings. Some of these ads claimed Xiaomi's products were more “future-ready” compared to the ones from Samsung. The Chinese tech giant also took out a full-page print ad questioning if the iPhone 16 Pro Max was “really the best” when compared to the Xiaomi 15 Ultra, highlighting the difference in price and specifications. It's unsurprising that both companies have threatened legal action. India is a lucrative market and both Apple and Samsung enjoy a dominant position there. Samsung also has a major presence in the low-end and mid-range segment where Xiaomi competes aggressively on price. It's also a leading supplier of TVs in the country, a market that Xiaomi wants to crack. The move comes even as Samsung has been rolling out ads mocking the iPhone's lack of features compared to the Galaxy Z Fold 7, but it's always walked a fine line while doing this, Xiaomi may have crossed it which is why these titans of the industry are not happy. The post Xiaomi gets on Samsung and Apple’s nerves, receives threats of legal action appeared first on SamMobile.
