Right? I asked a guy to break a five once when I got on the streetcar without realizing I couldn't pay my $3.25 fare with a bill. I was going from my house to my boyfriends, normally a 25min walk but i was in a rush to get back. I didn't have my purse with me. Just keys, my phone & a few bucks. I ordered an uber but the wait for a car was 12 minutes so I cancelled when I saw a streetcar was coming. I was already so embarrassed to have to ask & even more embarrassed when the guy I asked asked why I couldn't tap my phone or why I didn't have a debit/credit card. I just got off at the next stop & walked. I was holding the $5 in my hand, I thought it was clear I was asking him for money. Awkward
