BTS member Jeon Jungkook, in a recent live stream, opened up about being diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. During a Weverse live on August 29, shortly after returning to South Korea with the members from their U.S. music shoot, Jungkook said he has adult ADHD. I keep moving like this.”BTS Jungkook admits to having ADHDADHD is a condition where people often struggle with focus, sitting still, or controlling impulses. The type of medical condition usually starts in childhood but continues into adulthood. Many K-pop fans who share the same disorder or are neurodivergent themselves said they had already noticed similar signs in idols. So when Jungkook spoke about it openly, they quickly came to his defence, flooding social media with support while others voiced concern for his health. Fans also hoped this would finally put an end to the negative comments about the way he fidgets, pointing out that movements like stimming are a common coping mechanism. Lately, Jungkook has been hit with a wave of unwanted criticism online, something fellow members V and Jimin have also been dealing with.jungkook saying he’s neurodivergent he has adhd now everyone can stop commenting weird shit telling him to stop what he can’t control pic.twitter.com/h4Gv1RmBcY— em (@0UTROEGO) August 29, 2025Also read: BTS is home: But why ARMY’s energy just isn’t the same anymore; analysing 5 factorsOn social media, one fan praised Jungkook for being so open and wrote, “his casual attitude about it :’) the way both Jungkook & Yoongi talk about their ADHD is so lovely to me.” Another added, “jungkook saying he’s neurodivergent, now everyone can stop commenting weird sh** telling him to stop what he can’t control.” A third chimed in, “very happy to hear my man clocked an imbecile saying he ‘moves too much,’ replying that he can’t help it because he has ADHD.
