My phone went balls-up last year. I found a new one with double the memory for $150. It works great, and I'm typing this comment on it. My mom's phone is currently ill. She asked me what to get. I asked her what she used it for (telephoning, texting, navigation, and cat pictures). I told her to buy a cheap one. Mine has far, far more computing power than what she needs.
