Millie Bobby Brown accuses David Harbour of harassment. But Netflix won’t let her ‘overshadow’ ‘Stranger Things’

Wait 5 sec.

David Harbour has not been having a good time. The upcoming arrival of Stranger Things season 5 and the never-dying hype around it should have elevated his star status. But his reputation is currently fighting several glaring accusations. Now, his co-star, Millie Bobby Brown, has joined the list by reportedly filling “pages and pages of accusations” about harassment and bullying against her TV dad. As we know, his ex-wife and singer-songwriter Lily Allen has strongly implied that Harbour cheated and broke an agreed-upon open-relationship arrangement, not to mention the fact that she has openly wondered if he was a “sex addict” in her 2025 album ‘West End Girl.’ While these alarming, but not directly made, accusations were simmering, threatening to ruin the actor’s fame, the expected arrival of Stranger Things and the enduring love for his character, ex-police, Jim Hopper, seemed to trump the controversy. But it didn’t last long. As reported by RadarOnline, Brown has reportedly accused her co-star of bullying and harassing her on the sets of the Netflix series during the production of the last season. A source has added that she filed a harassment and bullying claim before they started shooting the last season. There were pages and pages of accusations.” Apparently, there was also an investigation conducted by Netflix that “went on for months.” So what does the streaming giant have to say about this? Deafening silence is the answer as a Netflix source told the publication that the streaming platform’s priority right now is “theatrical event” that is Season 5, and they won’t let anything “overshadow this, not even the leading man’s private life.” Since the release of season 5 is still days away (and even then, the episodes will be released days, even weeks apart), it is too early to say if Netflix is keeping one of the show’s lead stars away from promoting their golden goose. But based on the latest promotional campaign for the show, Harbour does appear to be largely absent despite his character and Brown’s Eleven’s emotional bond being at the heart of the story. Hopper is very high on the list of possible casualties as the show nears its conclusion, like Will, Eleven, Steve, and other beloved characters. Stranger Things season 5 will be released in three parts – four episodes on Nov. 26, three episodes on Christmas, with the finale coming out on New Year’s Eve.
