The Armed Forces of Malta (AFM) have safely removed a German WWII-era air-dropped unexploded ordnance that was uncovered during excavation works.The operation was carried out by the AFM’s Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Platoon, 3rd Regiment, with support from their Conventional Munitions Disposal (CMD) Engineers.
