Wait 5 sec.

The team behind some of Malta’s most-loved theatrical comedies, Mostly Harmless, is back with a brand-new production that promises to be their most unusual yet called “Dead and Breakfast.”This latest production is a dark comedy from the same creative minds that brought audiences God’s Official, The Trophy Room, Yes, Prime Minister and The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged). The play throws four wildly different characters together in one impossible scenario: a retired footballer, a self-made millionaire, a Maltese line cook, and a self-absorbed social media influencer are trapped in a hotel storeroom as chaos unfolds outside. With the door barricaded, the apocalypse encroaching, and only bleach, beer and buckets for survival, this unlikely quartet must navigate disaster with humour and cunning.Blending comedy with sharp social satire, Dead and Breakfast takes aim at influencer culture, survival instincts, and the absurdities that arise when polite society collapses. The production features some of Malta’s finest comic talent: John Montanaro, Andrea Pace, Jes Camilleri and Naomi Said, and is written and directed by James Calvert.Performances run across three weekends from 7th to 23rd November at Theatre Next Door, Naxxar, with all shows starting at 8pm. Tickets start at €15 and are available online at www.tnd.com.mt.This production contains adult language and themes and is not recommended for audiences under 18.Tag a friend to go watch it with them•
