The argument quickly escalated, and in a fit of rage, Naresh fired at his father. Moments later, he is suspected to have turned the weapon on himself, police said.Hearing gunshots, family members rushed to the room and found both men lying in two separate pools of blood. They were taken to Ramakrishna Mission Hospital in Vrindavan, where doctors declared them both to be dead on arrival.Circle Officer (CO) Sadar Sandeep Singh said police and forensic teams examined the scene and collected evidence, including the licensed firearm. “Preliminary information indicates the son shot his father and then himself after an argument over a personal matter. Legal formalities are being completed, and the matter is under investigation,” he said.Suresh Chandra Agarwal had founded Dinesh Beedi decades ago; the family later expanded operations across several states, and the 555 Beedi label became well known in the trade.Story continues below this adLocal business owners described him as a respected industrialist with investments in Mathura, Vrindavan, and West Bengal. They said Naresh was active in social work locally but was known to have a short temper and problems with alcohol.Both bodies have been sent for post-mortem, and further inquiries are underway.
