This week, Main Street, U.S.A., looks quite different for thousands of Disneyland Park guests. Disney has shut down the Town Square Gazebo and Disneyland Railroad station at the front of one of its parks, installing walls and signage to keep guests out of the area as cast members redecorate it.Just days after Halloween, Disneyland Paris Resort has begun transforming Disneyland Park into a winter wonderland. As part of that transformation, the Main Street, U.S.A., Station for the Disneyland Railroad and the Town Square gazebo are closed as crews install Christmas decorations in the area. Both attractions are expected to reopen by the end of the weekend.Credit: DisneyOn Monday, X (formerly known as Twitter) user @DLPReport shared these photos of the shuttered station and Town Square gazebo, which are blocked off by temporary construction walls and iron gates. One sign in the area reads “This Train Station is closed” in French and English, and another tells guests to use the Frontierland Depot or Discoveryland Station to board and disembark from the Disneyland Railroad. The building was transformed into a Mickey Mouse meet-and-greet location, but it is currently closed for refurbishment. In the meantime, Mickey is posing for photos and signing autographs in the pre-show area of the unoccupied Studio D theater.Credit: Disneyland Paris ResortThe Disneyland Railroad operates from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily. During the closure, the steam train still passes through Main Street, U.S.A., Station (and Fantasyland Station), but it will not stop.
