The Malta Rangers Unit reminded the public of the smoking ban at Golden Bay among other site regulations.Golden Bay (Ir-Ramla tal-Mixquqa), part of the Majjistral National Park, now enforces strict site regulations under SL. 549.83, with fines ranging from €400 to €50,000 for first-time offenders.Key rules include:BBQs: Gas barbecues are allowed with a Local Council permit and charcoal BBQs are prohibited.Picnics: Permitted, but tents cannot be pitched from sunset to sunrise.Flora Protection: Visitors may photograph the sand dune plants from a distance but must not enter protected areas or pick flowers.
