He is another who needs a big performance in Paris.Left-back: Nuno Mendes – PSGThe best left-back in the world, and it isn’t particularly close. Mendes is sound defensively and a marauding force of nature at the other end.Midfield: Vitinha – PSGA metronomic figure for Luis Enrique in midfield, Vitinha has saved his best for Europe this season. The Portugal international has scored six times in the Champions League, including a hat-trick against Tottenham. The Hungarian’s intensity has stood out like a sore thumb in Arne Slot’s side, who have so often looked pedestrian. Liverpool need Szoboszlai at his best over the two legs.Right-wing: Ousmane Dembele – PSGThe Ballon d’Or holder and the chief threat in a PSG forward line brimming with talent. Dembele’s season has been stop-start, but he’s proven his quality when available. He’s averaged a goal or assist every 69 minutes across Ligue 1 and the Champions League.Left-wing: Khvicha Kvaratskhelia – PSGLiverpool considered an approach for Kvaratskhelia before his move to PSG and will perhaps be kicking themselves for not following through.
