A 28-year-old man residing in Paola was arrested by the Police in Ġnien Toni Bezzina in connection with aggravated possession of drugs.Yesterday, at around 10.30am, while police officers were on foot patrol in the area, they stopped the man. During a search carried out on him, a paper bag was found containing two large sealed bags filled with a substance suspected to be cannabis buds.A further search was conducted at his residence in Triq Kordin, Paola, where more substance suspected to be cannabis was found, totaling around half a kilogram, along with other items related to drugs.He is expected to be arraigned in court in the coming days.•
