Edia and Yanoman announced that Aretha Collection 1993-1995, which consists of three games released on the Super Famicom (SNES) in Japan, will appear on the PS4, PS5, and Switch. Only a Japanese release is confirmed for the JRPG collection at the moment. That will appear digitally on all three platforms and physically on the Switch and PS5 on July 30, 2026. A standard copy will be 8,580円 (~$54), and the collector’s edition will be 16,280円 (~$102).While the first three Aretha games appeared on the Game Boy in Japan, the next three JRPGs in the series were Super Famicom exclusives. Those were Aretha the Super Famicom, Aretha II: Ariel no Fushigi na Tabi, and Rejoice: Aretha Oukoku no Kanata. The first two games feature turn-based titles, while the third is an action-RPG along the lines of The Legend of Zelda or Ys. The last entry in the collection also featured optional multiplayer, and the rerelease will allow a second player to pick up a controller and join in. As for the limited edition, its contents were confirmed alongside a preliminary picture of everything in the box. In addition to a copy of the collection on the Switch or PS5, people get an acrylic standee of the main characters, an art booklet, a jigsaw featuring art of the leads, and the original soundtrack CD. Here’s how that looks: Image via Edia and YanomanAretha Collection 1993-1995 will come to the Switch, PS4, and PS5 in Japan on July 30, 2026, and all three of its games originally appeared on the Super Famicom in Japan. The post Aretha Collection 1993-1995 Brings 3 Games to PS4, PS5, Switch appeared first on Siliconera.
