Right? I’m in my early 50s. Haven’t been outside of my country yet. But I am helping to support two households besides myself. And I still can fly across the country to visit family. Because I work my ass off. I am very lucky to have a job that lets me work a lot. Not much with overtime but I routinely do 90 hours a week. And I am fat and my body is damaged. Would I love to also travel? Yes!! But I also like to adult, so I put my responsibilities first and save what I can. The world might already be nuked to oblivion by the time I get enough, but that’s ok. Cuz I sure af won’t be begging strangers to fund frivolous things. Foh.
