I loaned 8k to my sister after she lost her job a year ago. She made a big deal out of repaying me X amount each month, but I told her to just pay me back when things would be better for her. Well... She went on a 3k vacation abroad the next month and has not brought up the loan since. Tbh, I took into consideration I would never see this money back and I am not tight, but it feels bad to know she is spending for luxury and loading her credit cards again instead of saving or reimbursing me...
