The Armed Forces of Malta has announced the return of the Malta Military Games, set to take place between 24th-26th April at Luqa Barracks.Now in its third edition, the event continues to grow in scale and reputation, bringing together military personnel, uniformed services, and civilian athletes to compete in a series of high-intensity fitness challenges inspired by military training.This year’s edition is expected to be the largest yet, with multiple international military teams from across Europe taking part, further strengthening Malta’s role as a hub for sport and international collaboration.Competitors will take part in team-based events across three days, completing six workouts designed to test strength, endurance, teamwork and mental resilience. Challenges will include activities such as vehicle pulls, tyre flips and tactical exercises set within a military environment.Beyond competition, the event also carries a charitable purpose, with all proceeds going to Puttinu Cares Foundation, supporting families facing serious illness.The games will be open to the public, offering spectators the chance to experience elite-level competition and a unique military fitness atmosphere, alongside interactive displays and activities.Will you be participating?•
