/u/verminV on British reality TV star and influencer offers ‘exposure’ for child’s birthday cake

Wait 5 sec.

I run a bespoke jewellery business. We regularly make pieces from 5k to 50k. We was asked by an "influencer" if she could use our jewellery for her page. We said sure, come by the office, try it on, take some videos or whatever and post what you like. She replied by saying she cant come to the office, bit could we send her some pieces (she has screenshotted some designs on our website and socials) and in return she would do a few stories. Not only did she want us to send her around 80k of items, she actually said "ofcourse for the amount of exposure you will get for this, I would expect the rings be donated to me for my efforts". She has less than 1500 followers. We unpolitely declined.
