I don’t know how accurate this information is, but my son (23yo) has actually mentioned this to me. He has said that his generation does not seem to be made up of as many couples that spend an exorbitant amount of money on a wedding. I have one other slightly irritating problem about this person’s post. Unless it goes against their culture or possible religion why in the world did they not use contraception until at least after the wedding? If it was in fact, religion or culture based, most of the time, using contraception goes hand and hand with not having sex before marriage anyway.
