Where is GBPJPY Headed Next?GBP/JPYOANDA:GBPJPYTheTradingRegimenAfter taking advantage of some pretty major moves over the past few weeks, we now ask ourselves "Where is price headed?". One thing I always remember to do is to look at price from a higher time frame. This way, you can have a clear understanding of where price is headed overall. You will not get caught up in the noise of the lower time frames. From a weekly perspective, we can see that price is still trading near major monthly buy-side liquidity. Last week, the bears stepped in and drove price to the downside, sweeping previous lows from September. Was it a liquidity sweep? Maybe. But there has been multiple attempts to break past this level and price has failed thus far. Looking at this from the weekly time frame, I can see that there is a ton of imbalance in the area between 189.000 and 195.000. I'll keep eyes on price this week but something tells me that we're not done heading down.
