In the by elections, we won six more seats and reached 162… In Lok Sabha too, despite winning 26 of 26 seats on two occasions (earlier), during my presidency we lost one seat (in 2024) and I accept the responsibility of that defeat.”Under Patil’s leadership, Gujarat BJP saw a historic victory in 2022, surpassing Congress tally of winning 149 of 182 seats in 1980s.Vishwakarma thanked the top leadership and said, “The responsibility given to me by top party leadership is not my alone.
