The deal marked the end of her 21-year run as sole owner, but bestowed her with billionaire status” It seems like a nice gesture but it’s naive and tone deaf to act like a one-time first class airfare and $10K is life changing — no mention of whether the lodging was paid for, and even if it was, $10K doesn’t cover a years worth of rent in most places I get that $10K can dramatically change someone’s life, and putting aside how short lived those funds are with expenses, they’re still a billionaire being painted as a noble person when there is a vast pay gap between the CEO and the ground floor employees Not trying to be a Debbie Downer, just sayin’
