This highly public display of government force against civilians has prompted widespread public pushback, including in the form of smartphone apps meant to alert users of nearby ICE activity.Following Apple’s takedown of the iOS-exclusive ICEBlock app, 404 Media reports that a similar app called Red Dot has been removed from both the iOS App Store as well as the Google Play Store. A Google spokesperson tells Android Authority that Red Dot was removed “for violations of our policies.”
