Crunchyroll announced the streaming debut date for Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc. The film will appear on the service starting on April 30, 2026, joining the first season of the show, the compilation films based on that anime, and the stage play. We knew it was on the way, as it already had a Spring 2026 launch window. The company announced this is part of a promotion to celebrate its annual Ani-May event, which involves various deals and special events showing up throughout May 2026. There will also be discounts on Fan & Mega Fan Crunchyroll subscriptions, which someone would need to watch this movie covering the events that started in volume 5 of the manga. The movie picks off right where the first season and Katana Man arc of the Public Safety part of the Chainsaw Man story ends. Denji is finally getting a chance to get closer to Makima and is settling in as a government-approved Devil hunter. However, by chance he meets a young woman named Reze who also expresses interest in him. At the same time, there’s a new villain sent for the organization to face.
