A nationwide telethon in aid of The Malta Trust Foundation will take place on 9th May, with all television stations in Malta set to broadcast the fundraising marathon in a united effort to support vulnerable children and young people.Titled “Għat-Tfal Kollha, Kollha, Kollha”, the telethon will run from 11am until 11pm and aims to raise essential funds for children living with blindness, severe visual impairment and communication challenges, particularly those on the autism spectrum.Donations raised throughout the day will go directly towards specialised assistive devices designed to help children access education, communicate more effectively and take part more fully in everyday life.Funds will also support therapeutic services including psychological care, speech therapy and other specialised interventions for children and young people with disabilities who require additional support. The campaign reflects the vision of Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca, founder and executive chairperson of the Malta Trust Foundation, whose work has focused on ensuring no child is left behind. The phrase “Għat-Tfal Kollha, Kollha, Kollha” is intended to highlight values of inclusion, equality, dignity and solidarity, recognising that every child deserves access to support, opportunity and hope.As a personal gesture of commitment to the cause, Coleiro Preca has also made her personal number available for those wishing to donate directly: 79989090.She also thanked the people of Malta and Gozo for the generosity and compassion they have consistently shown towards the Foundation’s work. The telethon is expected to bring together broadcasters and viewers across the islands for a full day focused on making a tangible difference in the lives of children and their families.Share to raise awareness for this great cause!   View this post on Instagram A post shared by Lovin Malta (@lovinmalta)•
