Gold (XAU/USD) 4H — CHoCH → BOS → Breakout SignalGold (XAUUSD)CAPITALCOM:GOLDSilverHawkSuite_DESCRIPTION: Gold 4H — Reading the Full Structure + Breakout Sequence This idea walks through how I use structure shifts and breakout confirmation together to build a complete trade thesis — from the early warning all the way to the active target. ────────────────────────────── STEP 1 — THE STORY STARTS WITH STRUCTURE ────────────────────────────── Everything on this chart started with a CHoCH (Change of Character) at the lows around late March. A CHoCH means the market stopped making lower lows and flipped. That's the first signal that the bearish move is losing control. From there, price printed two consecutive BOS (Break of Structure) labels to the upside — confirming the bullish shift was real and momentum was building. That's the context. Knowing this matters because it tells you where the market came from before the reversal. ────────────────────────────── STEP 2 — THE BREAKOUT SIGNAL ────────────────────────────── After the second BOS pushed price up to the ~4,900 area, the SH Breakouts indicator printed a bear signal (red arrow). This wasn't random. Price had made a higher high, failed to continue, and broke the short-term structure to the downside. The signal confirmed what structure was already warning. SL was placed automatically at ~4,950 — above the swing high. TP was set at ~4,450 — the next significant level below. ────────────────────────────── STEP 3 — WHERE WE ARE NOW ────────────────────────────── Price is currently at 4,713 — already well into the move. The TP target at 4,450 remains active. A prior breakout signal from early April already hit its full TP in the 4,400 area — you can see the completed level on the left side of the chart. That's the same tool, same logic, different signal. It's not luck — it's a repeatable process. ────────────────────────────── WHAT TO WATCH THIS WEEK ────────────────────────────── → Bears: Hold below 4,760. If price stays under, continuation toward 4,450 TP remains valid. → Bulls: A strong reclaim above 4,800 on the 4H would start to shift the picture. Wait for structure confirmation before flipping bias. → Key level: 4,700 is the immediate support. A clean break below opens the path to the TP zone. ────────────────────────────── INVALIDATION ────────────────────────────── Bearish thesis is invalidated on a 4H close above 4,820.
