Prime Minister Robert Abela accredits Malta’s economic success to Economy Minister Silvio Schembri’s ability to keep Malta’s economy continuously growing, saying it has led to making Malta’s economy one of the strongest in the European Union.He said that it is projected that Malta will keep its dominant economic standpoint until 2031 according to IMF.In April, the IMF projected that Malta is expected to maintain the fastest-growing economy in the EU through 2031, along with maintaining strong performance in real GDP growth, and keeping low levels of unemployment.
