India will import 64 lakh tonnes of urea and 19 lakh tonnes of other fertilisers for the upcoming kharif season. Global prices have doubled due to the West Asia crisis. Retail prices for urea and Di Ammonium Phosphate will remain unchanged. Adequate supply is assured for the season. Domestic production has improved after securing gas supplies.
