First TDN Rising Star For Persian Force as Force Noir Streets Rivals at Naas

Wait 5 sec.

Amo Racing's Force Noir (Persian Force) was named a TDN Rising Star, presented by Hagyard, after a visually impressive display at Naas on Monday. The Robson Aguiar-trained colt had previously shown a battling attitude when beaten a head after attempting to make all on heavy ground in the season's opening juvenile contest at the Curragh last month. Benefiting from much drier conditions in Monday's Irish EBF Median Sires Series Maiden, he made no mistake the second time around. In doing so, he became the second winner and first TDN Rising Star for his freshman sire in the five-furlong dash.“He ran well the first day, when he showed a bit of greenness, he's improved since and I'd say he's going to improve again,” said trainer Robson De Aguiar.“The sire has had a lot of runners and they've all run well. They put their heads down and run. Now they are starting to win and I'm very happy for the stallion. Force Noir can run over five and can step up to six as well. I liked his attitude, we'll see how he is after today and maybe he could come back next week for the [Listed] First Flier at the Curragh. We could maybe save him for the [G2] Norfolk in [Royal] Ascot. The [G3] Marble Hill is another option if he doesn't go to the First Flier.”Positioned on the front end through halfway after breaking from the stands' side stall, the 4-9 favourite was asked to stretch passing the quarter-mile marker and opened up in style inside the final furlong to hit the line with an impressive 4 1/4-length buffer back to Lady Patrona (Cotai Glory).Force Noir is the latest of seven reported foals and sixth scorer for Princess Rose (Royal Applause), who is out of a full-sister to the multiple Group 2-placed Mystical Land (Xaar).Descendants of his third dam Samsung Spirit (Statoblest) include the dual G3 Jebel Ali Mile winner Forjatt (Iffraaj) and G2 Champagne Stakes third Cardini (Magician). The winner is a half-brother to Listed Criterium Varesino victrix Andromaca (Poet's Voice). Force Noir (Persian Force) gets off the mark in style for Robson De Aguiar, @amoracingltd and David Egan @IrishEBF_ | @NaasRacecourse pic.twitter.com/6F8b6XVlKx— Racing TV (@RacingTV) April 27, 2026  4th-Naas, €25,000, Mdn, 4-27, 2yo, 5fT, :58.35, gd.FORCE NOIR (IRE), c, 2, by Persian Force (Ire)                1st Dam: Princess Rose (GB), by Royal Applause (GB)                2nd Dam: Mystical Spirit (Ire), by Xaar (GB)                3rd Dam: Samsung Spirit (GB), by Statoblest (Ire)Sales history: €68,000 Wlg '24 GOFNOF; €130,000 Ylg '25 GOFOR1.
