Prime Minister Robert Abela has shared a voice message on WhatsApp outlining his reasoning behind the upcoming general election and what lies ahead.In the audio sent via broadcast, Abela described the decision as one taken “with responsibility”, stressing that Malta needs stability and peace of mind in the face of ongoing global uncertainty.He said the country requires a government that can continue navigating challenging international conditions, while maintaining strong foundations locally.Abela also revealed he was on his way to meet the President of the Republic, as the process formally gets underway.Looking ahead, he said the Labour Party will run a positive campaign built on new ideas, with the public placed at the centre of its proposals.Malta is now gearing up for the 30th May vote.
