Valletta is set to come alive this Sunday as hundreds of Scouts and Girl Guides take to the streets for their annual rally, a celebration of community, tradition and youth spirit.Organised by the The Scout Association of Malta and the Malta Girl Guides, the event will bring together members from across Malta and Gozo, from the youngest Beavers and Dolphins to Rovers and Senior Rangers.Participants will march in full uniform from the Granaries in Floriana, through Republic Street and into St George’s Square, before continuing towards Merchants Street.The salute will be taken by Myriam Spiteri Debono in front of the Grand Master’s Palace, as part of the main highlight of the event.This year’s rally will be led by the South Districts, who will also attend a thanksgiving Mass earlier in the morning celebrated by Bishop Joseph Galea Curmi at Floriana Parish Church.
