President Trump has nominated G. Hunter McMaster II as Assistant Treasury Secretary for Financial Markets, a role he has been performing since July. McMaster, formerly trading chief at Key Square Group, previously served as Director of Policy and Planning and counselor to the Treasury Secretary. The Treasury Department also announced other key appointments, including Quinn Gabriel as White House liaison.
