Yup. I get this reaction every time I start a new hobby. Do you know what I’d have to sell a crocheted blanket for just to cover time and materials? I know some people do but they must be way faster than me! Same with quilts. They’re a labor of love. If I make you something, it’s because I love you! But I won’t take commissions or payment because I don’t want to be under a time clock or trying to keep track of hours/materials costs. It takes the fun out of it. Plus time+materials and then double it for a 50% profit it would be more than ANYONE would ever pay.
