Held with Punjab State Council for Science & Technology and the Directorate of Environment & Climate Change, (under environmental compensation funds )the programme will focus on water conservation, pollution and groundwater issues.Punjab is witnessing rapid groundwater depletion, with over 75% blocks classified as over-exploited, while NITI Aayog has earlier warned that several Indian cities face severe water stress. Against this backdrop, students, teachers and eco-club members will join interactive sessions with experts. Jonita Doda said the initiative aims to promote behavioural change and practical action.
