We continue to travel in the realm of strange and unique firearms. What could be odder than an Arsenal Firearms AF2011-A1? Apparently, it’s the world's first production double-barreled semi-automatic pistol, built to commemorate the centenary of the Colt 1911-A1. These images are from a range session last year in the Czech Republic. Essentially, this is two 1911s fused into a single side-by-side frame; it fires both barrels simultaneously with a single trigger pull, putting two .45 ACP rounds downrange at once. For when the recoil of a single gun is not enough, try the AF2011-A1! Despite the exotic platform, most internal parts are standard M1911-compatible, keeping it somewhat practical to service. Three variants are said to exist: the Standard, the Dueller, and the Dueller Prismatic (with compensators and brake ports). Its most famous screen appearance was in the 2015 Bond film Spectre, where Arsenal supplied five specially modified blank-firing units.
