Racecourse Media Group's (RMG) timing partner, CourseTrack, has restructured its Board, with Simon Bazalgette being appointed as non-executive chair.Bazalgette previously chaired the UK's largest racecourse group, Jockey Club Racecourses, between 2008 and 2019. He was also the founding executive chairman of RMG in 2004, while his current chair roles include Spectacle Partners, the strategic communications agency for the sports sector, and GVS EQ, the international management consulting firm focused on horse racing and the equestrian sports.Bazalgette said, “CourseTrack has already transformed the quality and consistency of in‑race data across British and Irish racing. The opportunity now is to build on that success by continuing to deliver a robust, reliable service for our partners while evolving the technology and expanding into new territories.
