Athlete Julian Galea ran 100 kilometres around Ta’ Qali to raise funds for Caritas.A number of other athletes accompanied him for parts of the run. In the final 10 kilometres, he was also joined by Prime Minister Robert Abela.Julian Galea started his run at 2am earlier today. He had spent several months training for the demanding challenge under the guidance of his coach, Charles Calleja of the Underdogs Club. The Prime Minister commended Galea’s resilience and expressed gratitude to Caritas Malta for its work.Galea has been running for the past three years, with his first run being the Caritas Run For Life.Caritas Malta is a Catholic Church agency that provides social support services, including assistance for people facing drug addiction, poverty, and social exclusion, as well as advocating for social justice and rehabilitation.Well done Julian!Credit: @robertabela.mt via Instagram•
