USDJPY Trade Review - Bullish Continuation & Structural PatienceUSD/JPYOANDA:USDJPYJuicemannnPair: USD/JPY HTF Bias (4H / 2H): Bullish HTF Overview: Higher time frame bias remains firmly bullish, with price continuing to respect higher lows within the broader range. Both higher time frame and midterm structure are aligned, with current price operating inside a lower timeframe dealing range. Midterm Narrative: Price delivered a clean sweep of midterm internal liquidity, tapping into the origin of the move (midterm zone). From that point, we saw a strong bullish reaction—clear signs of institutional interest stepping in. That reaction led to a breach of a key minor internal lower high. Not just a weak break, but a push with intent, leaving price now positioned near the highs. Current Structure & Expectation: With price sitting elevated, I’m not chasing highs. Instead, I’m anticipating: A micro internal liquidity sweep (not macro) Retracement into a decisional order block Then continuation targeting higher highs This is a continuation model, not a reversal setup. Execution Model (30M → 5M): Wait for internal liquidity to be taken Identify a clean lower timeframe bullish shift Enter only on confirmation and alignment No confirmation = no trade. Targets: Minor higher highs Midterm highs Current State: HTF bias: Bullish Midterm liquidity: Swept Reaction: Confirmed Structure: Holding at highs Now: Waiting for internal reset Plan Moving Forward: This is where patience comes in. Structure is still developing, and forcing entries at highs removes the edge. The goal is to let price pull back, rebalance, and then look for continuation from a position of strength.
