Ghaziabad is set to get a new 16-kilometre metro corridor. The Ghaziabad Development Authority has asked the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation to prepare a project report. This new line will connect Vaishali to Gokulpuri in northeast Delhi. It will pass through Hindon Civil Terminal, serving as Delhi-NCR's second airport.
