The Gauhati High Court has rejected Congress leader Pawan Khera's anticipatory bail petition. This is in connection with allegations made against Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma's wife. Criminal cases were filed by the Chief Minister's wife. The Supreme Court had previously asked Khera to approach the Gauhati High Court. The court heard the petition and reserved its order.
