A 42-year-old Somali national with no fixed address in Malta pleaded not guilty to possession of cannabis, cocaine and a nasal spray with an unidentified substance in Paceville.A report came in on Saturday at 1.30am about a suspicious person seen in the area of St George’s Bay, as reported by TVM News.Officers from the nearby police station went on the scene where they found Fatah Mohamud Hassan, the defendant, with substances suspected to be cocaine and cannabis in both large and small quantities. The police deduced that the drugs were not for personal use and arrested Mohamud Hassan on the spot.During court, the prosecution presented the cocaine and cannabis as evidence along with 72 transparent sachets and a nasal spray containing an unidentified substance.The Defence requested bail, which was denied by court. An order of asset freezing and sequestration was issued against the accuse.The defence was presented by lawyer Axl Camilleri, with the prosecution being led by lawyer Godwin Cini from the Attorney General’s office.What do you make of this?Photo Credits: TVM News•
