Shatabdi and Jan Shatabdi: Indian Railways has started a nationwide revamp of Shatabdi Express and Jan Shatabdi Express trains to significantly improve passenger comfort. The upgrade includes better seating, modern toilets, smoother ride quality, upgraded interiors and enhanced digital systems. Zonal railways have been asked to complete inspections and submit time-bound action plans.
