Manie Libbok breaks Japanese club scoring record

Wait 5 sec.

Ryan Nicholas scored 36 points in a Japanese club match in 2006. Manie Libbok was on 35 points, and his team, Hanazono Kintetsu Liners, was leading 70-36 with the clock in the red. When the opposition lineout throw was ruled not straight, the Kintetsu bench assumed time was up. However, the referee called a scrum, which Kintetsu decided to run. Libbok then got a chance to kick a conversion, and take him above Nicholas' total. From the club's YouTube video. English, Japanese and Afrikaans subtitles are hardcoded.
