Partit Momentum has launched its campaign for the upcoming general election titled “Bidla ta’ Vera” (A Real change). The relatively new political party are basing their campaign about bringing true change, as they wrote in a statement early on Tuesday morning that they are different than the politicians of slogans and catchphrases.“Slogans that make you feel good are not the same as change that do does you good. Malta has heard it all before,” the centrist party wrote. They emphasised that their campaign reflects the national demand for a fair, beautiful and sustainable Malta. The party said that they will tackle issues that matter most of normal families, listing down overdevelopment, a rising cost of living and protecting accountability. It also said that the party is still fielding candidates from all districts in Malta for this election, promising that their candidates will stand on a “platform of democratic reform, environmental sustainability and economic fairness”.Momentum Chairperson Arnold Cassola said that voters are tired of hearing what they want to hear, they need proactive leaders that work on important issues that affect all such as corruption and overdevelopment.Momentum has already been preparing for the election, forming an alliance another Maltese small party ADPD, where Cassola was rooted, for the upcoming general election to effectively target all districts without fragmenting the voters. What do you think of this campaign launch?Photo Credits: Momentum•
