The Calcutta High Court has strongly criticized the West Bengal government. It failed to comply with a court order to give land to the BSF for fencing the India-Bangladesh border. Only eight kilometers of the required 127 kilometers have been handed over. The court has ordered a detailed affidavit explaining the delay.
