A bizarre incident from Odisha’s Keonjhar district has gone viral after a tribal man reportedly exhumed his deceased sister’s skeleton and took it to a bank to prove her death and withdraw money from her account. The man, Jeetu Munda, claimed bank officials repeatedly asked him to bring the account holder despite being informed of her passing. Police later intervened, clarifying that he was unaware of legal procedures like nominee or heir claims, and assured assistance in accessing the funds.
