RTC driver succumbs after immolation bid, tension prevails in Warangal - The HinduUpdated - April 23, 2026 11:35 pm IST - WARANGAL/HYDERABADA Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) driver who attempted self-immolation amid the ongoing RTC employees’ strike succumbed to burn injuries on Thursday, triggering tension in Narsampet town as well as in Warangal.The deceased, K. Shankar Goud (54), a native of Narsampet and attached to the local depot, allegedly poured petrol on himself and set himself ablaze in front of the depot earlier in the day.
