NY Session: NY Session showed a price ranging around the daily POC at 78.00 with an almost flat VWAP for the day. The last 4h is showing rejection to the downside and further downside action may be seen for the last 4 hours of the day until 17:00 NY. Pin Bars: 4h Bearish Pin Bar: 1:00 candle on 4h timeframe formed a bearish pin bar that was confirmed by 5:00 bearish candle but hasn't reached the 1R level neither has been invalidated, for the moment this pin bar represents also the high of the day. 15m Trade - 0.59 loss: I opened a sell around 77.75 after price broke a pivot point on M15 during London Session at 8:30. Price showed a 4h pin bar at 01:00 and price was confirming this 30 minutes before closing the next 4h candle with a bearish move. The 4h candle also was presented on a key level on the 4h pivot point of yesterday, therefore previous support acting as resistance. Volume was also increasing on the 5 min and a FVG on h1 was left on the upside move at 19:00 during Asian session around 77.00, therefore a higher probability of price coming back to this level which will be near 1R. I closed the position after the price created a strong 1h candle and crossed a level of 78.30 above the POC at 78.00 as I consider a high probability of reaching the full SL at 78.68. Fundamentals: Today the Year over Year CPI for UK released a 3.3% result. Same as CPI of US released on April 10th. Higher inflation concerns tend to be bullish for precious metals as silver as these act as a refugee for savings against inflation.
