With my family: I really need it disclosed that the community center my aunt and cousin are throwing the shower at doesn’t allow alcohol. The amount of people who show up with bottles for other events… it’s not worth the risk of getting kicked out and then having nowhere else to go. As for the third point, I reworded a good chunk of the original message and posted it somewhere in the comments. I don’t know how to pin stuff on mobile, but it got positive feedback from what I’ve seen. I’ll probably go with the revised version.
