Little Chicken and XSEED shared the release date for Moonlight Peaks, the Bokujou Monogatari style cozy life sim in which the player’s avatar is a vampire. It will show up on the Switch, Switch 2, PC, and Android devices on July 7, 2026. There’s also a new trailer highlighting how gameplay works and the more supernatural elements of it all.In Moonlight Peaks, we play vampires who move to an equally spooky town to start a quieter life. Fortunately, since this is an otherworldly sort of game, we won’t stand out. Many of the other residents are also based on supernatural beings like mermaids and werewolves, and Death is even another major character. At our home, we’ll grow unusual crops, and the gameplay footage shows a shipping bin that has teeth and eyes. To quickly move around town, we can turn into a bat. Magic can be used to control the watering cans to tend crops. And as for those other villagers like Death, we’ll be able to get close to them and form relationships. As they point out, the game takes place after dark due to our avatar’s vampiric nature. A few of the major NPCs, like an event host named Pumpkin Head and an animal vendor and witch named Luna, appear in this batch.Images via Little ChickenMoonlight Peaks will come to the Switch, Switch 2, PC, and Android devices, and the new release date is July 7, 2026.
