Throughout 2024, Donald Trump argued that he would be the modern era’s prince of peace. He promised, “I’m not going to start wars, I’m going to stop wars”. He repeatedly said Kamala Harris was itching to ignite new conflicts, insisting that under his second term there would be “NO MORE WARS”. So, how’s that working out? Well, let’s just take a peek over at the Middle East. Huh. Kinda looks like everything is exploding as the region descends into utter chaos, as hundreds die and America gleefully enters yet another forever war with no clear objective. Great work, Donald. I hope that Nobel Peace Prize you stole looks great on your bathroom wall. It’s safe to say many MAGA die-hards are feeling some buyer’s remorse as the non-interventionalist America First president they campaigned for rips off his mask to reveal he was a Bush-style neocon all along. But can we really blame them for believing him when Trump was this explicit: BREAKING: A clip of Donald Trump from 2024 is going mega viral: “I can tell you you’re not going to have a war with Iran with me as president.”Truly curious if any MAGA voters are willing to admit they were played. pic.twitter.com/rR2FIRYqqz— CALL TO ACTIVISM (@CalltoActivism) March 1, 2026 “I can tell you you’re not going to have a war with Iran with me as president.” The answer, of course, is yes, we can absolutely blame them. Only the most credulous moron would believe a single word that slithers out of his lips. Trump is arguably the single most notorious liar the world has ever seen, and even a cursory glance over his biography and actions shows that lying comes as naturally to him as breathing. No principles and no real opinions Some of the MAGA purists – notably Marjorie Taylor Greene – have called out Trump for ditching America First in favor of recycled 2003 interventionism. But, predictably, the vast majority of MAGA have simply decided that they actually believed Trump should attack Iran all along. These people don’t have values and opinions in the traditional sense, they simply believe what Trump and his goons tell them to believe. They cheered when Trump said he’d never attack Iran, seeing that as something only the war-crazed Democrats would do. Now they’re cheering as Trump attacks Iran. And, impressively, they don’t see that there’s any disconnect or hypocrisy in this complete 180-degree opinion shift. In a way, I’m envious. It must be nice not to have to worry about what you actually believe.
